With the Open trials completed on Saturday pre-season kicks into action on Tuesday with a number of new faces amongst the ranks hoping to make the grade.

And they will have some big boots to fill with long standing skipper and Bec talisman Stevie Mac moving to Norwich in September. Along with Steve we are also losing the services of first choice right back Pat Hill, the silky skills of Craig Leworthy, experienced keeper James Deacon and we have already bid farewell to Kwab Danquah at the end of last season!

All in all we say goodbye to over 500 Bec Appearances, a fair amount of goals and some great characters but I'm sure we will replace them with equally talented and humorous individuals in the coming season.

Mick and I will be making the changes needed to see this club back doing what it does best, winning football matches and I've been laying the foundations needed to achieve the success I demand.

More announcements will be made over the next few weeks as we look forward to a busy pre-season with both teams.
